BOROUGHBRIDGE LIONS SPONSOR NEW STRIP

Boroughbridge Lions have very kindly sponsored the new Kirby Hill School football strip, presented to the school in a special celebration assembly. Lion Alan Stangroom, together with other members of the Boroughbridge 98 Club, explained how they raise money through various events during the year, including the annual duck race and Santa's sleigh ride. These monies are then used to fund worthy projects in the local community. The Lions wished both boys and girls football teams the best of luck for their forthcoming matches, and the whole school thanked the Lions 98 Club for their generousity and support.
