School Uniform

To aid optimum learning (especially in the outdoors) and to offer a practical option to you, we recommend that children wear school uniform.  They will get dirty, so school items are ideal.  These include:

  • Royal blue polo shirt (optional embroidered school logo)
  • Royal blue sweatshirt (optional embroidered school logo) Embroidered items can be purchased from the school office.
  • Black or grey trousers/ shorts/ leggings/jogging bottoms in nursery, trousers, shorts or skirts in reception.
  • Wellies
  • Coat
  • Optional outdoor school waterproof fleece/coat is available from the school

Please ensure every item of clothing and footwear is named, including socks and shoes (each shoe!).  Order forms for name tapes and the plastic ‘taggits’ (that eliminate the need to sew!) can be obtained from the office.

Suggested PE kit

  • Black shorts
  • White t-shirt
  • Plimsoles
  • White socks

School Visits
The children may be taken on various outings and trips during their time in school. Permission for outings is requested per visit, and a voluntary contribution may be asked for.  Children will travel in coaches or mini – buses with seatbelts.  We may also ask for parents to help support children on the visit.  We have a policy in school to ensure safety, and ask that all parents who help register with Mrs Farby first.

School Lunches

School meals, which are very popular, are cooked on the premises by Grosvenor staff and are available to all the children. Dinner money is collected, in advance, on Monday mornings and it is appreciated if money could be sent in a sealed envelope with your child’s name clearly marked.

The price of school meals is £1.90 (£1.50 for nursery children)

Packed lunches and Milk for the mid-morning break are available on request.
